The oldest tree in the continent of Africa is believed to be the "Methuselah" baobab tree, also known as Adansonia digitata. This ancient tree is located in Limpopo Province of South Africa and is estimated to be over 6,000 years old. The tree has a circumference of 47 meters and is approximately 22 meters tall.
